The tour route covers the main cities in the Pamirs. In less than a week you will have time to see not only Khorog, which is the administrative center of GBAO, but also to get to know Ishkashim, Vancha and even on the way to get acquainted with other interesting places, local people and their lifestyle which is quite unusual for an urban dweller.

Tour program

Day 1. Dushanbe - Hissar

Day 1. Dushanbe - Hissar

• Arrival in the city of Dushanbe. Accommodation in a hotel.  

• At 9:30, tour in Dushanbe:  
  - Visiting the squares (Central Square and Ismoil Somoni Square).  
  - Visit to the Botanical Garden.  
  - Visit to the National Museum of Antiquity of Tajikistan, which contains materials about the ancient history of the region, including the famous statue "Buddha in Nirvana."  
- Visit to local entertainment centers and markets.  

• Then a trip to the city of Hisor (20 km) - where a unique historical and cultural reserve is located.  
  - The reserve includes a complex of architectural structures of the IX-XIX centuries. The central object of which is the famous Hisor Fortress, built on a natural hill, on top of which was the palace of the Hisor ruler.  

• If desired, lunch in a restaurant (located nearby), which is surrounded by centuries-old chinars.  

• Return and overnight in a hotel (selected class).

Day 2. Kalai-Khumb

Day 2. Kalai-Khumb

• Breakfast at the hotel.  
• At 09:00, check-out and a trip to Kalaikhum district.  
• On the way, inspection of local villages, holy places, natural landscapes (waterfalls, mountain passes).  
• In the evening, arrival in Kalai-Khumb, accommodation and overnight in homestay.

Day 3. Vanch

Day 3. Vanch

• Breakfast at the hotel.  
• At 09:00, check-out and a trip to the Vanch district, one of the most beautiful and interesting places where the Fedchenko and Bear glaciers are located. Tourists from all over the world come to see these glaciers.  
• There are also many medieval fortresses in this area.  
• In the evening, arrival in Vanch, accommodation in a homestay.

Day 4. Khorog

Day 4. Khorog

• Breakfast at the hotel.  
• At 09:00, check-out and a trip to Shugnan district.  

• Exploring the city of Khorog (which is the central city of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region).  

  - Visit the Pamir Botanical Garden (the highest mountain garden in the world, where plants from all over the world grow at an altitude of 3 thousand meters above sea level).  
  - Visit the museum of the poet and philosopher of the Middle Ages, Nosir Hisrav.  
  - Visit the Jelondi mineral spring.  
• Accommodation at the Khorog Hotel in the evening.

Day 5. Ishkashim

Day 5. Ishkashim

• Breakfast at the hotel.  
• At 09:00, check-out and a trip to the Ishkashim district.  

• Exploring the most famous sanatorium in Central Asia, "Garm Chashma", where hot springs and mineral waters break through the ground.  
  - In the sanatorium, you can swim in the pools and order medical procedures for an additional fee.  

  - Also in this area, you can admire the beautiful mountain landscapes and mountain rivers.  
• Overnight in a sanatorium.

Day 6. Dushanbe

Day 6. Dushanbe

• Breakfast at the hotel.  
• At 09:00, check-out and off to Dushanbe (arrival approximately at 14:00).  
• Free time to buy souvenirs.
