The tourist company "Badakhshon Travel" took 1st place in the regional competition held by the Agency for Standardization, Metrology, and Certification of GBAO, and was named the best company in the field of providing tourist services. We received the right to participate in the republican Competition.
Day 1. Dushanbe
Day 1. Dushanbe
Upon arriving at the airport, you’ll be warmly greeted and escorted to a vehicle for transfer to your hotel. After a smooth ride, you’ll check in and have a little time to settle in.
After lunch, we’ll set out on a comprehensive sightseeing tour of Dushanbe - the capital of Tajikistan, historically known as the “City of Monday”. The tour will take you through the city’s most iconic landmarks and give you a taste of its rich heritage and modern vibrancy.
We’ll start at the Botanical Garden, where you can wander among lush greenery and discover a wide variety of plant species. Next, we’ll visit the Monument to Ismail Somoni - a majestic tribute to the founder of the Tajik dynasty, symbolising national identity and history.
The National Museum of Dushanbe will offer deep insights into Tajikistan’s past, showcasing artefacts that trace the country’s history, culture, and artistic traditions. A short drive will bring us to the site of the largest flag in Central Asia - an impressive emblem of national pride, soaring high against the sky.
We’ll also stop at Kokhi Navruz Palace, a striking example of contemporary Tajik architecture, blending traditional motifs with modern design. Then, we’ll step into the Handicrafts Gallery, where you can admire and purchase traditional Tajik crafts, from intricate embroidery to hand‑woven textiles.
Our final stop will be Mehrgon Bazaar - a bustling marketplace alive with colour and aroma. Here, you can explore stalls brimming with fresh produce, fragrant spices, and handmade goods, offering a true sense of local life.
You’ll then return to your hotel for overnight accommodation, ready to rest and reflect on the day’s rich experiences.
Day 2. Dushanbe - Darvoz

The Darvoz region is a true hidden paradise in Tajikistan, where nature’s grandeur unfolds in every direction. Today’s 5‑hour journey will take us through some of the most spectacular high mountain landscapes - a fitting introduction to a country where mountains cover 93 % of the total territory.
As we make our way along the route, we’ll stop to explore the stunning Nurek Lake, also known as the Solar Lake. This breathtaking mountain reservoir, formed by a dam, offers mesmerising views - a perfect spot for a short walk and some memorable photos.
After our lakeside pause, we’ll continue on to Kulob city, where we’ll gather for lunch and enjoy local flavours amid a welcoming atmosphere.
In the late afternoon, we’ll arrive in Darvoz. Arrival is scheduled for 17:00, and we’ll check in to our accommodation at a hotel in Karon.
To round off the day, we’ll share a hearty dinner together. Afterwards, you’ll have some free time to relax, take in the serene surroundings, and soak up the unique ambience of this mountainous region.
Day 3. Darvoz - Karon Ancient City

We’ll visit the historic castle perched on a 400‑meter‑high cliff, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding cliffs and valleys. Next, we’ll walk through the picturesque Patkunob gorge, admiring its striking rock formations and natural beauty. Lunch will be served at the Chorchaman Recreation Center in a peaceful setting. In the afternoon, we’ll go to the waterfalls to enjoy the pure mountain water, then play chess on a life‑sized chessboard. We’ll also visit cold springs in a scenic garden. After a day of exploration, we’ll have dinner and spend the night at Karon 4*.
