• Meeting at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
• Accommodation in a hotel.
• Breakfast.
• After breakfast, a sightseeing tour of the city:
- Dusti Square
- Ismail Somoni Memorial Complex, dedicated to the founder of the first Tajik state
- Rudaki Avenue
- National Museum of Antiquities with an interesting collection of ancient artifacts, including a 12-meter clay figure of Buddha in Nirvana.
• After lunch, an excursion to the Hisor Fortress, the residence of the Hisor Beys.
• Exploring the fortress and the historical museum located in an ancient madrasah.
• Return to the hotel.
Day 3. Dushanbe - Panjakent

• Departure to Panjakent, one of the most ancient cities in the world, where the 5.5-thousand-year-old historical and archaeological monument of Sarazm is located, attracting the attention of archaeologists from all over the world.
• By a UNESCO decree, Sarazm was included in the list of world historical monuments protected by this organization.
• Several photo stops when descending to the valley of the Zerafshan River, as well as in the village of Dar Dar, where Gulnazar Keldiyev, the poet and author of Tajikistan’s anthem lyrics, was born.
• A walk through the village to get acquainted with the traditions and way of life of the mountain dwellers.
• Arrival in Panjakent.
• Visit of the excavations of ancient Panjakent with its medieval citadel, residential buildings with wall paintings, and necropolis. The ancient settlement gained special fame thanks to the wall paintings preserved under the rubble for 1300 years.
• Overnight at the Panjakent Plaza Hotel 3*.
Day 4. Panjakent - Haftkul

• Visit to the museum named after Rudaki, bazaar, and mosques of Olim Dodho.
• Departure to the Haftkul Valley or the seven Marguzor Lakes at the foot of the Fan Mountains.
• Picnic near Lake 3 or 6.
• Visiting all lakes by car.
• The Marguzor lakes, the beauty of which resembles precious stones in the necklace of beauty, have different colors and are the pearl of the Fan Mountains.
• The famous Soviet poet and singer Yuri Vizbor translated his memories of the Fan Mountains into a beautiful song in Russian, which you can find on YouTube. In it, he says:
“I left my heart in the Fann Mountains,
Now I walk heartless on the plains,
And in quiet conversations, and in noisy feasts,
I silently dream of blue peaks...”*
• Return to Panjakent.
• Overnight at the Panjakent Plaza Hotel 3*.
