Day 1. Nurek Reservoir

Day 1. Nurek Reservoir

The road to the Nurek reservoir runs through the village of Vahdat, where we will stop to buy freshly baked flatbreads, straight from the tandoor. We will drive through two road tunnels 2.5 and 4 km long. After a dizzying mountain serpentine, a picturesque view of the Nurek reservoir from above will open up to us. Water and mountains, what could be more beautiful. Having entered the closed territory, we will go down straight to the shore. There we will be able to swim on SUPs. The water temperature in the reservoir in the spring is +8, in the summer it reaches +18 degrees, quite comfortable for swimming. Water activities will require energy, so we will recharge with a delicious lunch with a beautiful view of the shore.
