Tour program

Day 1. Dushanbe

Day 1. Dushanbe

Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport by our representative and transferred to your hotel. In the evening there will be a welcome dinner with music and dance performances that will give you an insight into the local culture. Get ready to have fun and enjoy delicious food with new friends. Excursions and leisure Walk, Photo, Excursion Where we live Atlas Hotel

Day 2. Depshar

Day 2. Depshar

Today we start in the direction of the Garm Valley. The route goes along the Garm River through a wide valley with fertile fields and impressive mountain panoramas. Stop in Jafra, where we will enjoy a hearty local meal for lunch in an orchard with 32 different types of apple trees and perhaps meet the very ecologically oriented and interesting owner of the orchards. Then we continue our journey - the last on a somewhat bumpy road - to the village of Depshar, where we will stay overnight in the guide's house. Day 3. Depshar

Day 3. Depshar

Today we will have a radial hike to the glaciers in one of the impressive gorges near our village. This will help us acclimatize. We will have a picnic for lunch, and by the end of the day we will return to the local guide's house. Excursions and leisure Walk , Photo Where we live Guide's house

Day 4. Sazayel

Day 4. Sazayel

In the morning we start to mount our bikes, this will be one of the most challenging days of our trip due to the ascent. We continue to climb and enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains and the river valley. At noon we enjoy a picnic together, and in the evening we have dinner together at the camp on Khochalm. Today we spend the night in tents on a high-mountain pasture ("Ailok") near yurt villages and herds. These first meetings with semi-nomadic shepherds are certainly impressive. But we, as visitors, are also surprising to them, because foreign guests do not come here very often. Excursions and leisure Walk , Photo Where we live Tents

Day 5. Maidakul Lake

Day 5. Maidakul Lake

Today's trek is enjoyable as we follow the Sazayol Shepherd's Trail, which gently takes us uphill through beautiful green hills. We pass by shepherd villages and are warmly welcomed. We also hike in the Peter I Range, a breathtaking mountain range in the highlands of northwestern Tajikistan, known as the Pamirs. It is an easy trek with stunning views of nearby glaciers, green hills and meadows. We finish our day by pitching tents on the shores of Maidakul Lake, which is located at 3,400 m. There is enough time to swim in the lake (approximately 14 degrees) and admire the majestic mountain peaks reflected in the water. Excursions and leisure Walk , Photo Where we live Tents

Day 6. Kharikul

Day 6. Kharikul

Today we will start our day with a short hike to the glacier and continue by bike to Maidakul and further towards Kharikul. This will be partly a shepherd's path and an abandoned old road. We will come across more shepherd's settlements along the way and expect to reach Kharikul in the afternoon. We will then set up camp here, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery behind and a charming lake in front. We can use the rest of the day to swim in the lake, hike in the surrounding area or simply enjoy the tranquility of the landscape while reading a book. Day 7. Jafr

Day 7. Jafr

This is the last day of MTB, the first part of the route will be a gradual climb to the pass. At the pass you will have the opportunity to see the peaks of Ismoili Somoni and Karzhenesky. In addition, you will have a magnificent panorama of the most impressive mountain ranges of the region, such as Peter 1, Zeravshan, Pamir-Alaya and Tien Shan. Then we will mainly descend along a zigzagging old car road. We can drive to the village of Jafr on the asphalt road or stop anywhere and continue the way in the support car. In Jafr we will again be hosted by the family of Mirzosho - an amateur botanist who breeds new varieties of fruit trees and helps preserve the biodiversity of the landscape around the village of Jafr. Musician, historian, storyteller and all-round intellectual. Excursions and leisure History , Photo , Excursion Where we live Guest House

Day 8. Dushanbe

Day 8. Dushanbe

There will be fewer adventures from here on. We return to Dushanbe, passing the Rogun Dam and the Obi Garm hot springs. Excursions and leisure Trip , Photo Where we live Atlas Hotel
