Day 1. Dushanbe - Iskanderkul Lake - Dushanbe
Early in the morning, depart from Dushanbe and transfer to Iskanderkul Lake (approximately 3.5 hours). Along the way, there will be stops at the most scenic locations for photos. Upon arrival, you will be introduced to the area and receive a brief safety briefing from your guide.
Next, we will walk to the Fann Niagara Waterfall (about 20 minutes one way), where you will enjoy an impressive view and a viewing platform.
After that, continue with a walk to Snake Lake (about 30 minutes), where your guide will share fascinating legends associated with this place. Then, we will climb to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking Iskanderkul Lake and learn about its history.
Next, we descend to the recreation area for lunch (during the winter season, lunch boxes are provided). Afterwards, enjoy free time to relax, take a walk, and have a photo session by the lakeshore (for those who wish, swimming in the refreshing water at +6 to +10°C is possible).
We then continue to Bucephalus Cave, connected with the legends of Alexander the Great. After that, we will walk to the Five Springs, where you can collect pure mountain water.
